Calling All Actors!
Dr. Tish (music director) has dates for the Good Pickin' Players! We're going to perform Charlie's Web: A Barn Yarn several times throughout the Fall. Charlie is a play Dr. Tish wrote for last year's School House kids to perform featuring the real-life animals we have at the farm…and a couple of not-so-real-life. It is a brief play and quick to learn, and hopefully much of our original cast will be returning. It will be a delightful addition to our Sunday Fall Fest events we'll be offering to our farm visitors.
There are specific parts available, and Dr. Tish will also need a couple of kids to be 'swings' able to take another role when someone is missing.
If you know of someone who might be interested in joining us, have them contact Dr. Tish for an audition by appointment.
Dr. Tish will be writing another play about our animals, the farm, and the holidays to perform during the holiday season.
A fee of $75 will be required to cover the costs of costumes, props, supplies, etc.
If you are interested in joining the Players, please contact Dr. Tish no later than September 1st.
Dr. Tish will send a script/role after you confirm your participation. Last year's School House students will repeat their former roles. All lines must be memorized by the September 12th rehearsal.
