Join us for an exciting two-week arts camp this summer, where creativity takes center stage! Campers will dive into visual arts, singing, theater games, acting skills, and musical theater dance with our team of professional instructors.
What to Expect:
🎭 Auditions on Day One – No preparation needed! We'll cast campers in a cabaret-style show featuring musical theater numbers and skits.
🎨 Art & Set Design – Campers will help create sets, scenery, and artwork based on the show’s themes for an accompanying art display.
🎶 Daily Rotations – Our days will be filled with singing, dancing, acting, and rehearsing for the final performance.
🐴 Outdoor Fun – Between rehearsals, we’ll enjoy animal visits, hikes, and outdoor adventures around the farm.
🎤 Final Performance – On the last day, campers will take the stage for a showcase of their hard work, performed for family and the larger farm camp community.
Meet Our Instructors:
✨ Dr. Tish Anne Kilgore – Theater director and arts educator
✨ Catherine Reid – Experienced performing arts instructor and writer
✨ Ms. Lucy – Apple Shed Academy (our micro-school!) teacher, dancer, and artist
Get ready for two unforgettable weeks of music, movement, and artistic expression—all in the beautiful outdoor setting at the farm!
A Fairy Tale
Join us for the enchanting world of "A Fairy Tale" where Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty are all in love with Prince Charming. Fairy Godmother mixes up her spells causing the prince to be turned into a frog, where he meets the beautiful Lily. The Three Little Pigs, Snow White's Seven Dwarves and magic Fairies help to stir up the fun!
Children 5 and 6 years old may rehearse and perform a separate story, depending on the number of campers and their skill levels, or will be placed appropriately in roles in “A Fairy Tale”.
